I've always been interested in numbers, accounting and finance.

I shifted from accounting to financial planning because I want to help people get to where they want to be rather than looking backwards at what’s happened in the past.

I love getting to know clients and catching up with them at our regular meetings to hear about their adventures and achievements. It's rewarding to be able to celebrate the wins, and look forward to maintain momentum.

I'm fortunate to have worked in various corners of the financial world, including accounting, self-managed super funds, financial planning and mortgage broking.

This mix of experiences gives me a good grounding to think strategically for my clients in all areas of their financial lives.

I value stacking up stories over stuff, love outdoor activities, and constantly seek new adventures.

Some of the amazing experiences that have left a lasting impact and given me the bug to go after a fun-filled life:

  • Backpacked around the world, visiting many countries and experiencing unique cultures and ways of life.

  • Experienced the thrill of bungee jumping and sky diving.

  • Scuba dived some amazing reefs, ship wrecks, and underwater cave systems around the world.

  • Trekked the Annapurna circuit in the Himalayas, where we visited the world's highest lake, crossed the world's highest pass and immersed ourselves in the culture of mountain life.

  • Completed the Inca Trail to Machu Pichu in Peru.

  • Home stays with amazing local families in Vietnam, Ireland, Montenegro and Nicaragua.

My favourite holiday is sitting by the Murray River with family, enjoying 40+ degree days and water skiing. This is something our family has enjoyed for 15+ years.

In between adventures, it's the everyday experiences that create lasting memories. Renovating our home, sitting around a campfire with my kids roasting marshmallows, food and wine with friends and family, and celebrating our kids’ milestones is how I enjoy my downtime.

Warrnambool is home. My wife and I soaked up the city life in Melbourne for 12 years before returning home to the coast to raise our three kids.
